The Fox No. 24, a sentimental favorite…

Not in the best of condition, my Fox 24 (1911) typewriter looks neat to me. It types and I like the results. Just need to get it out more and work on it… but I am happy just to press it keys.

$7.99 for a 1959 Smith-Corona Secretarial

There are still great wonderful values out there. Full size, working; even a useable ribbon and only $7.99… At a higher price I would have skipped this model; but now I say it’s a quality machine.

1924 Remington Noiseless 5 Standard (The curved one with metal platen)

I could not resist this beauty. It was so nice looking I had fears… which turned out to be true… the frame had broken in the interior that prevented proper placement of the platen but after some effort I got some impressions… not...

When I think positive thoughts my typewriters respond by working well… when I am negative they skip and stick and refuse to create good type!

Sometimes you come across a wonder… all the seller knew was it came over from Germany in the 1930’s… then when I saw the serial number (41993) I just smiled at my treasure!

Remington Model 5 Streamline…

I saw a dusty typewriter, no marking… the owner could not ID… but I knew. So I offered $21.00… just when you think you are out… the type pulls you back!

With a Royal Citadel I feel ready to hit the road…

The Royal Citadel… and the Singer Scholastic seem the same… except the Citadel was 1/2 the price of any Singer I’ve come across in similar condition. Not to mention the Royal Dart…...

The Torpedo types great!!

The Antares is a 10 to look at but just okay to type with. The Underwood Quiet Tab has good looks and good typing. The Torpedo just types great!!
