My blog is about starting over. I have owned two clothing lines in the past. The most recent one did not work out because of family and health issues. One of the worst years I've ever had is now behind me and I am ready to dive in and follow my dream. My previous experiences with this have taught me a lot. Few things have meant more to me than creating; especially designing and sewing. This blog is going to document the process of growing my business from scratch and making beautiful things.

So I didn't get a chance to take any more pictures this weekend. Just got too busy and I've started another custom order. I did make a treasury though. I've been working on this one for a few days now. I have a neighbor who collects vintage thin...

I had some time to take pictures of a skirt I've been meaning to list. Pictures are really time consuming for me. I have to do my hair and makeup, set up my background, go through all of the shots and pick the best ones, edit.... It's a big chunk of...
  • Scraps of Denim
on Feb 13, 2012 in ReDesign
With my older daughter Syndelle being kind of a tom boy I find myself having to turn many pairs of jeans with gnarly holes at the knees into shorts. And since I can't throw anything away I have a mountainous pile of denim scraps. What to do...

My items have been featured in a ton of treasuries on etsy lately so I thought I'd return some of the love. I made a treasury of my own. I'd be a happy recipient of any or all of these as gifts. Any takers? :PClick here for more!
  • Sewing Room Makeover: Before
on Feb 1, 2012 in Sewing Room Makeover
So it's been almost 4 years since we've moved into this house and we've done almost nothing with it. I decided this would be the year that I finally decorated my sewing room. It's my favorite room in the house for obvious reasons and it's the room I...
